Countdown to 13 - Day 6

When Hannah turned 4 lots of exciting things started happening. That year we had her first big birthday party. It was at church, but we walked over to the fire station and had a tour as part of her party. Two weeks later, it snowed like crazy and by the time it stopped, there was 11 inches...the most in decades. She and I went snow tubing on the "new" hill behind our church. It was the first time either of us had ever been. It was flat out awesome! About that same time, our church started having small groups that met in homes and our family hosted one.

In June Hannah and her cousin AJ were in an outdoor wedding for a girl who often babysat for them. In July we went on vacation to Myrtle Beach with Grandmommy. In August, we learned that Hannah was going to once again, be a big sister. We bought a new house in September, but it needed A LOT of work.

Hannah still loved Barbies, playing video games (old school Super Mario Bros. and she was pretty good at it too), reading, drawing, swinging, Disney princesses (esp. Rapunzel)...she was a girly girl and yet she didn't mind playing with her boy cousins and her brother either!  She was developing into such a well rounded kid.  She amazed us and lots of others with how smart she was!
